Mercersburg, PA Oct. 30, 2007 - D.L. Martin Co. Is pleased to announce the addition of a Genesis CM3X Robotic Welder to their growing manufacturing facility.
The Genesis CM3X Robotic Welder is designed to handle high volume production parts that require repositioning during the weld cycle. The patented, center-mounted robot design maximizes the utilization of the robot work envelope by placing the robot in the center of the turntable and closer to the workpiece. The result is a smaller robot that can accomplish the same task as a larger robot on a traditional rear-mounted design. The addition of this robotic welder to D.L. Martin Co.s facility will allow for increased precision capability and faster order response time for their welding services.
The Genesis CM3X Robotic Welder features a FANUC ArcMate controller with a Lincoln Power Wave power supply. The platform features a 180 degree indexing positioner and 96 inch tool length with a 60 inch swing diameter.
